A considered approach
Our architecture is contemporary in expression and restrained in gesture, not as an aesthetic pose, but as a discipline. We aim for calm, composed spaces that support daily life rather than dominate it. Atmosphere is formed through proportion, threshold, framed viewlines, borrowed light, and the quiet power of shadow. We design for how a home is lived in, not just how it is photographed.
Deep familiarity with place
We regularly work across the City of Melbourne, Stonnington, Boroondara, Glen Eira, Bayside, and the Mornington Peninsula Shire, as well as regional and coastal Victoria including the Bellarine Peninsula. Local knowledge matters. Planning controls, neighbourhood character, orientation, privacy, and outlook all shape a project. We use these realities to refine the architecture, rather than fight it with gesture.
Architecture and interiors as one discipline
We offer a full suite of services encompassing both architectural and interior design. This allows the home to be resolved as a whole, integrating material decisions, joinery, lighting, and services so the finished work feels coherent and enduring.
Process and collaboration
We work closely with clients through each stage, from concept design and design development through documentation, tendering, and construction. The process is collaborative and guided. We explain decisions clearly and refine the work carefully so it remains aligned with the original intent while responding to budget, planning, and buildability.
Prospective clients are welcome to contact the studio to arrange an initial conversation.
