GG Residence
Toorak, Melbourne
2025 - Current
We drew on the existing character of this 1990s neoclassical townhouse in Toorak to guide a considered renovation, where Italianate detailing gives way to a quiet homage to 1970s Italian brutalism. Heavy aggregate limestone becomes the constant across the project, lending gravitas, calm, and a subtle nod to Milanese modernism.
The plan has been carefully redrawn to restore depth and drama, refine spatial sequences, frame long views, and explore the play of light and shadow.
