Alma Road Townhouses translates the language of a single home into a Build to Rent development of eight three-bedroom residences that feel individual, grounded and quietly refined.
The development unfolds as a series of distinct volumes. Two residences address the street, establishing a clear sense of arrival, while the remaining six homes sit beyond a shared pedestrian entry and driveway. This composition preserves a residential scale, giving each home its own distinct threshold while recessed entry doors create sheltered moments of arrival, softening the transition between communal and private realms.
Rendered masonry and galvanised cladding delivers a robust external palette selected for longevity, ease of maintenance and the demands of long-term rental occupation - a logic that extends internally through durable finishes. Carefully positioned window reveals and recessed openings balance privacy and outlook for tenants, while subtle material shifts effectively break down the building mass to reinforce a more intimate sensibility.
Together, these elements form a considered framework for Build to Rent living, balancing durability, pragmatic planning and a strong sense of home.
